Progress Highlights

Size Colour-Coded Tags:  All Eco Ninjas hats now feature embedded, size colour-coded tags, making central laundering and sorting easier than ever. We’ve matched the NHS scrub colour system:

  • Yellow = Small

  • Brown = Medium

  • White = Large

  • Pink = XL

Wash Testing:  Our hats have passed further rigorous wash tests and are fully approved for repeated laundering.

Cyber Security Upgrade:

We’ve upgraded from standard cyber security to Cyber Plus, ensuring even greater protection for all our partners and customers and future partnerships.

Partnerships & Laundry Solutions

Johnsons Workwear: With locations across the UK, Johnsons can now collect, wash, and return Eco Ninjas hats purchased by hospitals, using net bags for easy tracking and sorting.

Elis: Hospitals already using Elis for scrub laundering can now add our hats to their service. Both Johnsons and Elis guarantee that the exact same hats are returned to the same hospitals, every time.

BBC Media Update

BBC Somerset Interview: Yesterday, I was interviewed by BBC Somerset, alongside an orthopaedic surgeon who implemented our hats in his Trauma & Orthopaedic department six months ago. You can visit the BBC website here.

Upcoming BBC Video: The BBC is now producing a video feature on our badge hats, highlighting the positive impact they’re having in theatres. We’ll share this as soon as it’s available: watch this space!

Community & Events

Life Sciences Events in Birmingham: Last week, I attended several life sciences events in Birmingham, meeting fantastic people- innovators, professors, and sustainability leaders. The response to our badge hats was overwhelmingly positive, especially from those with experience in surgery or as patients.
